Andy Robertson not spotted in Liverpool training

Liverpool streamed a portion of their pre-Napoli training session live at Melwood and Andy Robertson was not spotted in among the players.

Also missing was Divock Origi after the Belgian was withdrawn from action early against Newcastle United and will likely miss Liverpool’s Champions League fixture against Napoli.

Robertson, however, did not appear to pick up a knock at Anfield on the weekend and Jurgen Klopp didn’t mention any kind of issue that might force him to miss this week’s trip to Naples.

Of course, only a short portion of the session was captured so there is a chance that the left-back was conducting media duties or was otherwise engaged but if he is injured, it will be a concern for the Reds.

James Milner would be required to fill in for the Scotsman as he did against Bayern Munich last season but hopefully, there is a less concerning explanation for his absence.
