Jurgen Klopp rules out Germany job

Jurgen Klopp has said he never considered taking over as Germany’s manager despite speculation around whether Joachim Low would retain the job.

Low’s side had a poor World Cup going out in the group stage in Russia, and with that, there were question marks around whether he would keep his job.

Despite the speculation, Low has kept his job, and Klopp said it was the correct decision for Low to stay on and that he was happy at Anfield.

“Honestly, I have never thought about it. I am happy at Liverpool – everything else we shall see,” Klopp told Bild.

“I was relaxed as I expected [Low to retain the Germany job]. I think it is absolutely the right decision.”
