Carlo Ancelotti warns Liverpool that Napoli will not sit back and defend

Liverpool host Napoli in a must-win game at Anfield on Tuesday but Carlo Ancelotti has warned the Reds that his side will not sit back and defend as the two teams get set to battle it out for Champions League qualification.
After losing every single away game in Europe this season, Jurgen Klopp’s side needs to beat Napoli either 1-0 or by a two-goal difference to ensure they leapfrog the Italians in Group C.
Many fans are feeling confident of Liverpool’s chances of beating Napoli at home after the heroics of last season and a recent improvement upfront for the Anfield outfit. And if Ancelotti is planning on sending his side out to attack at Anfield, it could play into the home side’s hands.

Speaking after Napoli Frosinone 4-0, Ancelotti said: “We don’t know how to play a defensive match and we won’t do it at Liverpool.
“We want to control the game. We are not used to playing defensively, we are not capable of doing it. We will not park the bus in front of our goal.
“We believe we will get through: so far we have prepared a beautiful cake, now we must add the icing.”
