Dejan Lovren claims Liverpool can go unbeaten in the Premier League
Dejan Lovren has tempted fate by saying Liverpool can go unbeaten in the Premier League this season after the Reds beat Manchester United to make it 17 games without defeat.
Liverpool swept their arch rivals aside with relative ease on Sunday, attempting 33 shots on goal. The scoreline flatters United, who should have conceded a few more than they did.
The clash at Anfield was Lovren’s first start in the Premier League since the end of November as he was called into action after Joe Gomez and Joel Matip suffered respective fractures.

“It’s a good result I would say for us,” the centre-back said after Sunday’s win. “Hopefully we can be unbeaten until the end of the season.
“Of course it will be a challenge but this is what we want, this is why we came here to Liverpool because we know we can do it.
“Arsenal did it before so why not?”
