Jose Mourinho highlights Mohamed Salah as key threat against United
Jose Mourinho has highlighted Mohamed Salah as the man Manchester United need to stop at Anfield today.
The Egyptian scored a hat-trick in his last Premier League appearance against Bournemouth last week at the Vitality Stadium, as well as scoring the decisive goal against Napoli midweek to secure Liverpool’s spot in the knockout stage of the Champions League.
United did a good job stopping Salah last season at both Anfield and Old Trafford, and Mourinho believes his side will need to do the same considering the forwards form if they wish to leave Anfield with a point or three today.
“The Salah I knew at Chelsea was a project player. Now he is one of the best in the world,” said Mourinho, as reported by the Daily Mail.

“He has developed incredibly well since then on every level. He was a fast fragile boy and how he is a fast strong man. Physically amazing.
“He was not pyschologically adapted to the Premier League when he came from a small club in Switzerland (Basel) to a big club in England.
“I played him at White Hart Lane and The Eithad and it was too much for him. Now he plays anywhere, Barcelona, Madrid, and he’s like “I am Mo Salah and I am afraid of nobody.
“Liverpool have many strengths but he is a nuclear strength.”
