Jose Mourinho says he is tired of looking at this Liverpool player
Andy Robertson was in his usual energetic and marauding attitude as he bombed up and down the left flank during Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Manchester United.
The Scotsman is one of the unsung heroes of this brilliant Liverpool side. He might get plenty of praise but considering his excellent performance levels rarely drop, he ought to be talked about more.
Against United, he was nearly perfect, regularly shutting down Jesse Lingard down and surging forward to support Naby Keita with intelligent runs.

“My players gave everything and when they give everything I am never frustrated with them,” said the Portuguese. “They played in relation to their qualities in the same way the opponents played in relation to their qualities.
“They (Liverpool) are fast, intense, aggressive, physical, and they play at 100mph with and without the ball.
“I am still tired just to look at Robertson. He makes I think 100 metre sprints per minute. Absolutely incredible and these are qualities.”
Mourinho added: “Robertson, Mane, Salah, Wijnaldum, Keita, Fabinho, they are physical players. On top of that they are good players technically.
“I have lots of good players technically but we don’t have many players with that intensity and that physicality. When the game has high level of intensity it is difficult for us. We have lots of problems dealing with physicality.
“You can compare my Porto team to Liverpool as the quality of the players are there. It was my best team in defensive transition. We lost the ball and bite like mad dogs and recover the ball in seconds.”
