Klopp: we’ll “go with all we have against Napoli”

Jurgen Klopp wants his Liverpool side to put all thoughts of their recent wins against Burnley and Bournemouth behind them and “go with everything” they have against Napoli tomorrow night.

The German manager rotated his squad heavily throughout the last two Premier League clashes for the Reds and reaped the rewards – his side now sit top of the Premier League and remain unbeaten so far this campaign.

However, tomorrow night’s clash with Napoli will be Liverpool’s toughest test of the season so far. The Reds must win by two clear goals to go through to the knockout stages no matter what the outcome of the PSG-Red Star game – if they lose, they’re out.

“The boys might be feeling the intensity of the last two games – we ignored the Burnley game and act almost like it didn’t happen,” Klopp said, according to the Echo.

“We changed five players and then went again at Bournemouth.

“After a long period of not playing Joel Matip plays two games, Virgil van Dijk plays 20 in a row and these are all things we have to consider.

“We will make sure we have the freshest legs and go with all we have against Napoli.”

Klopp will no doubt rotate his squad yet again when the Serie A side visit Anfield tomorrow night. A win is vital if the Reds are to stay in the competition they very nearly won last season.
