BBC pundit says Liverpool star “has become a man” after Bayern Munich draw
BBC presenter Dion Dublin says Jordan Henderson has matured as a player and that his senior role at the club was showed in his assertive and dominant display at Anfield against Bayern Munich on Tuesday.
The skipper was immense in his holding midfield role against Thiago Alcantara and James Rodriguez as he battled to ensure a weakened Liverpool defence wasn’t exposed.
Dublin, speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live’s Football Daily podcast, said that Henderson was brilliant against Bayern Munich and I believe this is something we can agree on.

Dublin said: “I thought Henderson was brilliant.
“I thought he was very positive, always trying to get on the ball at every opportunity, trying to get his defenders up the pitch as well.
“Always wanting to try and play forward which is what I do like about Henderson.
“His game has changed, he’s become a man now and he’s one of the seniors here at Liverpool – and it showed tonight in his performance.
“A very mature leader.”
