Liverpool eye summer swoop for talented AS Monaco midfielder

Liverpool are considering making a summer move for Khephren Thuram but will need to beat the likes of Chelsea to his signature.

The 17-year-old has appeared for AS Monaco in the Champions League and the Coupe de la Ligue and is looking set to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a great French footballer.

The Daily Mail reports that Thuram Junior has yet to sign a professional contract with AS Monaco and this has pricked the ears of the biggest dogs across Europe.

If Liverpool or Chelsea were to sign Thuram this summer, all that would be owed to AS Monaco would be a small compensation fee for a player that has an incredibly bright future.

Monaco will be desperate to get him to sign a contract given the hype surrounding his future and with clubs like Liverpool already circling, he needs to make the best move for his career.

Regular game time will be nigh on impossible to come by for Thuram at Liverpool and Chelsea so if he did wind up signing a contract with AS Monaco, it could be the most beneficial move for what may well turn out to be a long and illustrious career.
