Klopp provides fitness update: Firmino available, midfielder ruled out
Jurgen Klopp revealed today that Roberto Firmino is set to be available for the Champions League final on Saturday.
The Brazilian has sat out Liverpool’s last three matches against Newcastle United, FC Barcelona and Wolves with a muscle strain.
He has, however, trained with the rest of the squad in Marbella, and his manager if confident he’ll be available for selection against Tottenham this weekend.

“Bobby trained, was part of training last week and looked really good, everything was fine. Then we took him out again. He will be in training from tomorrow on again,” Klopp said, as quoted by LiverpoolFC.com.
“All that we saw so far looked really good and he will be fine, I’m pretty sure.”
However, Klopp also revealed that midfielder Naby Keita has lost out in his race to be fit for the final.
“[There is] no chance for Naby,” Klopp added. “He is really progressing well, we will see how it will work out for him for the Africa Cup of Nations. We don’t know that yet.”
