Ryan Kent drops hint about next season’s club destination

Liverpool loanee Ryan Kent has revealed that there’s a possibility he could remain at Rangers next season, according to reports.

The midfielder has been nominated for the PFA Player and Young Player of the Year awards after a solid season at Ibrox.

He may, however, have priced himself out of a return to Scotland due to the increase in his value in line with his performances for the Gers.

On the possibility of keeping Kent, manager Steven Gerrard said: “I won’t give hope of keeping Ryan until I see him in a different kit. If you speak to Ryan he will tell you that he’s happy, that he’s enjoying his football, the fans are really enjoying him.

“There are a lot of boxes ticked with him being at Rangers. Liverpool know that, Ryan and his people know that, and we certainly understand that.

“All we can do is make sure we’re at the table – and we will be at the table. I think it would be unlikely to be a permanent move. I would be more confident about getting him back on a loan.

“If Liverpool wanted to sell him, that’s out of my hands. The figure being spoken about… I’m out.”
