Liverpool hold talks with agent of Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly

Liverpool have reportedly held initial talks with the agent of Kalidou Koulibaly ahead of a potential summer switch to Anfield, according to Italian outlet Il Mattino.
The Napoli defender has long been linked with a move to Manchester United, with Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus also interested.
However, it now appears as though Liverpool have thrown their hat in the ring for the 27-year-old as well.

The Reds weren’t expected to make any major changes in defence this summer, other than to bring in a replacement left-back for the outgoing Alberto Moreno.
However, with Dejan Lovren linked with a potential move to AC Milan, Jurgen Klopp may have been forced to alter his transfer plans.
Currently, Koulibaly is on international duty for Senegal in the African Cup of Nations, where he’ll train and play alongside Liverpool’s No.10, Sadio Mane.
Liverpool have yet to make an official offer for the centre-back, with Napoli hoping to make around £107million from any potential sale.
