Newcastle cool interest in Wilson as Aston Villa circle

Newcastle are set to withdraw their interest in Harry Wilson because the Liverpool attacker isn’t available on loan, according to Sky Sports.
Magpies boss Steve Bruce was interested in recruiting Wilson for the 2019/20 season, but was only willing to bring the Welshman in on loan.
Liverpool, however, do not want to loan the 22-year-old out again and will only consider a permanent deal.

The club value Wilson at more than £20million and believe other sides will pay that fee for the player.
The talented winger spent last season on loan at Derby under Frank Lampard, where he scored 15 goals and registered three assists in 40 league matches.
And with Newcastle reportedly pulling out of the race for his signature, Aston Villa have now emerged as real contenders to sign him.
Dean Smith’s side could offer £15million plus £5million in add-ons for Wilson, which Liverpool could be persuaded to accept.
