Manchester City's fixture list is good news for Liverpool

Manchester City will be worried about losing their Premier League crown to Liverpool if they lose at Anfield in a couple weeks’ time.

The Reds have played every team in the top six aside from the Champions and a win on the 10th of November could set them on their way to winning their first-ever Premier League title.

If that happens, they will be nine points clear at the top of the table with a much easier run of fixtures during the festive period and will be able to begin piling the pressure on Pep Guardiola’s men.

City have yet to play Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Leicester and have slipped up against Norwich and Wolves – two teams you would expect a star-studded side to overcome.

It must be said, however, that City are not to be underestimated as they are arguably the best Premier League side ever and are fully capable of overturning a 10+ point lead.

Jurgen Klopp’s side has looked menacing though and after beating Tottenham at home on Sunday, returned to winning ways in the league following their frustrating draw against Manchester United.

The game at Anfield in two weeks is huge and if City lose, they will need to be nigh on perfect for the rest of the season to beat Liverpool to the Premier League title.
