Steven Gerrard provides Manchester United vs Liverpool prediction

Steven Gerrard has unsurprisingly predicted that Liverpool will beat Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Somehow Liverpool are already 15 points above United and are overwhelming favourites to win on Sunday.

While games between rivals often see the form guide go out the window, Jurgen Klopp’s side should still get a win to continue their stunning winning streak which sees them travel to Old Trafford on the back of a 17-game hot streak.

During a press conference to preview Rangers’ trip to Hearts, Gerrard was asked for a prediction, with the former Liverpool captain unsurprisingly tipping his beloved club for a win over United.

While he was a little annoyed at first with the way the reporter phrased his questions, Gerrard lightened up and eventually asked him if he expected anything different than for the Scouser to predict a Liverpool win.

Liverpool have one of the best forward lines in Europe and the strongest backline in England so barring an unlikely resurgence from Manchester United, the Reds should return to Anfield with the three points.
