Adam Lallana wanted by clubs in China and US

The Telegraph reports that Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana is wanted by clubs in China and the US ahead of his contract’s expiry in the summer.

The 31-year-old is going through something of an Anfield revival at the moment after his goal against Old Trafford saw him start back to back games against Arsenal and Aston Villa.

On Saturday, he had a 88% pass accuracy, 11 ball recoveries, made 5 tackles and had the highest number of passes in the opposition half of any player on the pitch which is impressive considering he was playing as a no.6.

I personally believe he should have been sold in the summer but his impact this season has been quite positive and it would be great to see him go out on a high by winning a couple more trophies with Liverpool.

Writing for the Telegraph, John Percy claims that MLS and Chinese Super League sides are keen on recruiting Lallana as his Liverpool career nears its end after five years.

That said, the report says he is likely to be offered a new contract and that will surely play a large role in his decision making. If Lallana can stay fit, he’s capable of being a valuable squad member.

His ability to play a number of roles in midfield makes him an asset for Jurgen Klopp.
