Gary Lineker sends message to Curtis Jones
England legend Gary Lineker has sent a message to Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones praising him for the goal he scored last weekend in the Merseyside derby at Anfield.
The Reds were 1-0 victors against Everton in the FA Cup clash thanks to the second-half strike by Jones.
Klopp made wholesale changes for the clash, as he had too many injuries to his senior players to risk them. The German could not afford to lose another key member of his squad, which meant the kids were picked.
However, it worked out well for someone such as Jones, as he lived out a boyhood dream by scoring the winning goal in the Merseyside derby.
Lineker sent the youngster a message on social media, which was simply to congratulate the 18-year-old.

Incredible goal from Curtis Jones for @LFC and it appears the Anfield wait for @Everton will go on.

Lineker tends to praise Liverpool quite a bit on social media. He is one of those pundits who appreciates good football when he sees it.
It was also nice of him to remind everyone that Everton have not won a derby at Anfield since 1999.
Liverpool will face either Bristol City or Shrewsbury Town in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
