After something dominated proceedings against Leicester City, we want you to rate your man of the match.

The narrative coming into the game was all about the injuries and Liverpool’s makeshift line up. The Reds took no heed, and ended up putting together quite possibly the most comprehensive performance in the league this season. Honestly, we could pretty much put the entire starting XI up for Man of the Match today, but we’ll do the hard job of picking a few to choose from (and let you yell at us in the comments for leaving Alisson and the center backs off the list).

Ageless wonder James Milner started at right back, and pushed into the midfield after Naby Keita went of injured. Milner was a steady presence all game, and provided delicious passes all game long, including an assist from a corner to Roberto Firmino, who finally scored at Anfield again (and really should have scored 3). Speaking of assists, Andrew Robertson added yet another assist to his tally, driving a wonderful cross in for Diogo Jota to nod home. The Portuguese attacker was a menace all game long outside of scoring his 4th goal in his first 4 Premier League starts for Liverpool. Curtis Jones was tactically phenomenal, contributing at both ends of the field from his midfield spot. Jones absolutely looks the part despite being only 19 years old.

With our favored polling tool out of service, we’re instead giving you a choice between a few of the players we thought looked best today for the Reds, so make your choice below and vote for who you think should be the man of the match—or take to the comments to let us know that we got it wrong by leaving the real man of the match off the list entirely.

As always, anyone visiting on Apple News or Google AMP who wish to vote and can’t see the poll can make it visible by navigating to the front page of The Liverpool Offside and re-entering the story.
