Marko Grujic exit likely

Marko Grujic is likely to leave Liverpool on loan for the upcoming season, according to Goal.

Cardiff City are leading the race to sign Grujic after he had a successful loan spell with the Welsh club last season. He made 14 appearances helping Neil Warnock’s side earn promotion to the Premier League.

Despite Cardiff’s interest, AC Milan and Lazio are reportedly keen to bring the midfielder across on a permanent basis. Talks have already started taking place with Cardiff which puts them in pole position.

Fulham and Atalanta are also interested in the 22-year-old with a potential loan deal.

Jurgen Klopp wants Grujic to work on his defensive awareness, decision-making and discipline, and with that, staying in the Premier League would best allow him to do so.

If Liverpool were to sell the Serbian that they signed back in 2016 for £5 million, it would be unlikely to be for anything less than double that.
