Ovie Ejaria signs new deal at Liverpool and joins Rangers on loan
Ovie Ejaria has signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool, but will join Rangers on loan for the upcoming season, subject to international clearance.
Ejaria will play under Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard at Rangers looking to take his game to the next level in the short-term, but outlined how delighted he is to sign a long-term contract with the Reds.
“It’s a really great feeling. I’ve been at Liverpool for four years now and I’m just really happy to extend my stay here,” Ejaria told the offical website of the club.
“It’s a massive club, the club’s doing really well at the moment, so it wasn’t a hard decision at all.”
Ejaria had a loan spell at Sunderland last season making 11 appearances. He has eight first-team appearances at Liverpool also.
