Jurgen Klopp hopeful current squad turns out to be best in his tenure thus far

Jurgen Klopp is hopeful that the current squad of players he has at his disposal for the upcoming season proves to be the strongest during his tenure thus far.

Liverpool have spent big this summer looking to close the gap on Manchester City. Klopp is optimistic that the team he has assembled can go onto bigger and better things, but he is remaining cautious as they are yet to achieve anything.

“But we will know that after the season because how strong the squad is, the season will show and not the transfers or whatever, or the price you paid, or the money value of the squad.

“It’s only about the football and that’s what we have to do.

“We have to show day in and day out in the next few weeks and you will always have difficult situations like we had today.
