Liverpool are preparing to lose Alberto Moreno at the end of the season on a free transfer, according to The Mirror.

The Spaniard has only eight months left on his Anfield contract, leaving many European clubs on alert, Arsenal being one of them.

Moreno was offered the option to extend his stay on Merseyside, but opted against the idea.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery is reportedly interested in the full-back having worked with him when they were both at Sevilla.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are also interested in Moreno, as both clubs believe the experience the full-back would bring would be difficult to turn down on a free transfer.

Liverpool will keep Moreno at Anfield until the end of the season.
