Klopp rules out Keita and Henderson ahead of Cardiff clash

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that both Naby Keita and Jordan Henderson are not fit enough to feature against Cardiff City at Anfield on Saturday in the Premier League.

The midfield pair are suffering minor hamstring injuries, but no new injury issues have appeared meaning Klopp has the majority of his squad to pick from.

Klopp said at his pre-match press conference: “[Keita and Henderson] will not work out for tomorrow, for sure not. Both are in a good way but will not be ready for then.

“I think that’s it pretty much. The rest – apart from Ox and Rhian – should be available.”
