Daniel Sturridge denies ever gambling on a game of football after being charged by the Football Association with misconduct.

Sturridge has reportedly breached the regulations titled Rule E8(1)(a)(ii) and Rule E8(1)(b), as outlined in the FA’s statement, as reported via their official website.

The proposed allegations against Sturridge took place in January 2018, which he has until 6pm on Tuesday, 20 November to respond.

If the forward cannot prove his innocence, he could be facing a fine or a heavy suspension.
