Klopp on injuries to Alexander-Arnold, Matip and Milner
Jurgen Klopp revealed after the Napoli match at Anfield last night that Liverpool’s victory had come at some cost, according to LiverpoolFC.com.
Trent Alexander-Arnold picked up a knock towards the end of the game that forced him off the field, replaced at right-back by Dejan Lovren.
Joel Matip and James Milner also sustained injuries in the final moments of the hard-fought encounter, with the former involved in a collision that required him to be sent to hospital for a scan, according to Sky Sports.

Milner’s injury was less severe, with the midfielder going off with cramp. Klopp elaborated on the injuries in his post-match conference.
“I’m not sure,” said the German, when asked about Matip’s injury. “Nobody told me anything about [Joel’s] shoulder, so hopefully that’s a good sign.
“Trent got a knock on his foot, we are not sure about what exactly it is. It is painful.
“Millie had cramps – I hope it was only cramp. That was it, I don’t know anything else.”
The injuries could have major implications for Liverpool’s upcoming Premier League clash with Manchester United on Sunday at Anfield, especially if Alexander-Arnold is out and Milner’s injury is worse than first thought.
