Liverpool F.C’s 2018-19 Premier League Mid-Season Review: Part 2
Part Two of our look back at the 20 matches that saw Liverpool unbeaten through to the end of 2018.
Liverpool are out of the F.A. Cup after Monday’s third-round fixture which saw the Reds in a rather listless display at the Molineux Stadium against Nuno Espírito Santo’s Wolves. With no more domestic cup games, Liverpool and Jürgen Klopp are now unencumbered and can focus on trying to win the Premier League.
In honour of the 20-game unbeaten run the club went on leading up to the new year—and a pair of results now that haven’t gone our way—we looked at the first ten matches that saw the Reds get off to their best ever start to an EPL season in Part One of our mid-season review last week. Now, here’s Part Two.

A match that looked certain to end in a goalless draw finished in dramatic fashion for the second season running with Divock Origi this time scoring in very late fashion deep into stoppage time. And there you have it, 20 games undefeated in the Premier League. With only PL and Champions League to focus on along with two more breaks than the teams still in the cup competitions, Liverpool remain in the driving seat to finish this season on top of the table... All we as supporters need to continue doing, is as Jürgen has asked us since arriving at Liverpool is that we all keep believing!
Up the Mighty Reds!
