Nathaniel Clyne prepared for Everton this weekend

Liverpool right-back Nathaniel Clyne says he is not bothered about the reception he receives from the Everton fans this weekend.

Clyne, who is currently on loan until the remainder of the season with Bournemouth, will face Liverpool’s rivals at Goodison Park on Sunday.

Clyne though is not bothered about the reception he will receive, as he believes he has enough experience to deal with the external noise.

“I am experienced enough to deal with what the fans give,” said Clyne, as reported by the Bournemouth Echo.

“We will have to wait and see how they react to me.

“I will just concentrate on the game rather than focussing on what the fans are doing.

“You just try to block it out. They chant but it’s not really affecting the game. You just have to focus on your job and your roles.”

Clyne added: “When I signed for Liverpool, one of the first things they said was you couldn’t lose a Merseyside derby!

“We (Liverpool) have played them quite a few times and won most of them.

“It’s so soon to go back up there but I am looking forward to the opportunity and hopefully we (Cherries) can get the result we are looking for. Hopefully we can win.”
