Liverpool opponents suffer injury to influential midfielder ahead of Premier League clash
The Reds face Bournemouth at Anfield in a week’s time but Eddie Howe’s side will be without key man David Brooks as he has been ruled out of action with an ankle injury.
The young Welshman has been in fine form over the last few weeks and his absence will be a huge loss for the Cherries as they look to solidify their place this season as a top 10 side.
In 21 appearances for Bournemouth, Brooks has six goals and four assists and was fantastic to watch as the South Coast side walloped Chelsea on Wednesday evening.

Sky Sports reports that Brooks has suffered an ankle injury and will miss the next four weeks as a result with the Liverpool clash one of the big games the young midfielder will be absent for.
The Reds will be grateful that the 21-year-old won’t be fit to play at Anfield as they look to push on in their bid to win their first Premier League title.
Jurgen Klopp has his own injury concerns to contend with as Dejan Lovren has suffered another injury that will rule him out of selection for Monday’s test against West Ham United.
