Casillas and Clattenburg blast Salah for Porto tackle
Porto goalkeeper Iker Casillas has slammed Mohamed Salah after the Liverpool star appeared to dodge a red card in last night’s victory at Anfield, according to Metro.
The Reds will take a healthy 2-0 lead to Portugal next week after Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino scored, though Jurgen Klopp’s side should perhaps have put away several more throughout the game.
There was also a strong element of fortune about some decisions made during the match, as Trent Alexander-Arnold escaped a possible penalty decision for a handball in the box and Salah was not booked for a dangerous challenge towards the end of the game.

Former referee Mark Clattenburg believed Salah should have been sent off for the tackle.
‘The Liverpool forward comes over the top of the ball and clearly plants his studs onto the shin of his opponent,” Clattenburg said.
“UEFA guidelines on this type of challenge are clear – anything with studs above the ankle is a red card.”
Casillas also took issue with decisions going Liverpool’s way last night, posting photos of Salah’s challenge and Alexander-Arnold accidentally handing the ball in the box on Twitter after the game.
The second leg will take place on April 17 in Portugal.
