Liverpool receive surprise boost in Rabiot pursuit

Jurgen Klopp has been given a surprise boost in his prolonged pursuit of Paris-Saint Germain’s Adrien Rabiot, according to the Mirror.

It was reported earlier this week that the midfielder had agreed to join La Liga giants Real Madrid in the summer.

However, Spanish outlet Marca is now reporting that Madrid have no interest in Rabiot at all.

The 21-year-old is eager to leave Paris after being exiled from first-team action. He is currently embroiled in disciplinary proceedings after being pictured partying on the night PSG were knocked out of the Champions League by Manchester United.

Liverpool have been linked with the Frenchman for months now, with his future a source of constant speculation.

He has made 150 appearances for PSG.
