Reds midfielder set to sign contract extension
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to earn a contract extension at Liverpool, according to the Mail.
The midfield made his long-awaited return from injury during Friday’s match against Huddersfield, coming off the bench in the second half to claim his first minutes for he senior squad in over a year.
And the No.21 is now on the verge of signing a one-year extension to his £120,000-a-week contract with the Reds, taking him up to 2023 at Anfield.

Following his comeback to first team action, Oxlade-Chamberlain took to social media to thank fans and the club for their support.
“Thank you to everyone who helped to get me back on the pitch, all of the staff at the club and my team-mates too,” he said on Instagram.
“Also a big thank you to you, the fans, for supporting me in some of my darkest times as a player.
“The reception I got tonight is something I’ll remember for life. Thank you.”
