Reds scouting 19-year-old striker ahead of summer move
Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Paris FC’s Silas Wamangituka, according to the Mirror.
The teenager has scored eight goals for his club in Ligue 2 this season, and has been scouted by both the Reds and Barcelona, with Newcastle and Fiorentina also monitoring him.
The 19-year-old has been key to Paris FC’s promotion push this season, however, and the club will not take kindly to rumours of a move away.

On those rumours, Paris FC assistant manager Stéphane Gilli said: “Obviously it is the director of football who will be managing that situation, but clearly we would like to keep hold of him.
“It is true that there are a lot of scouts at the stadium every week, those clubs included, and many others.
“It is up to the club, the player and his agent to make the right choices. We want him to stay, but there is always that financial aspect, and he is a player who has a massive potential.
“He is a great lad who works hard though, and all this interest around him has not changed him. His mindset and behaviour have been very good.
“We had originally taken him on trial so he could play for the reserves, but after 10 days we went to the club president and told him we had to sign him, because he has a lot of talent and the potential go very far.
“He has worked hard and made the most of his chances when we had problems offensively and our other options were not performing well.
“There are areas to improve, notably how he plays without the ball and his positioning, so there is still a lot to learn. But in terms of intrinsic attributes, he is a player who pretty much has it all – he is quick and is good technically.”
