Roberto Firmino on Liverpool’s “first step” in Porto tie
Roberto Firmino acknowledged that last night’s victory over Porto was “important” but claims there’s still some way to go before Champions League progression is secured.
The Brazilian tapped in an Alexander-Arnold cross to cap a superb Liverpool move and send the Reds 2-0 up on the night.
Naby Keita had opened the scoring early on with a deflected shot, his second goal in as many games.

“It was an important victory. We’ve taken the first step,” Firmino told LiverpoolFC.com.
“We played well and we scored goals. Now we have to keep our feet on the ground because the next game will be difficult as well.
“And we have to give it our all away at their stadium.”
