Liverpool have expressed an interest in signing Inter Milan forward Sebastiano Esposito this summer, according to FC Inter News, via HITC.

Jurgen Klopp is in the market for more attacking options, with Daniel Sturridge set to leave the club at the end of the month.

Divock Origi is expected to sign a new deal after returning from holiday and Rhian Brewster will be fast-tracked to the first team squad for next season, but more forward options may still be required at Anfield.

Esposito is a highly-rated youngster in the Inter setup, notching 41 goals in 59 youth team appearances and making one senior appearance for the Serie A giants.

The 16-year-old is also being tracked by a host of European clubs, including Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Manchester United.

No figure has been mooted for the striker at this stage, but Inter may want a sizeable fee for a player they deem as a hot prospect.
