Liverpool submit enquiry for 23-year-old Premier League left-back
Liverpool and Arsenal have submitted enquiries for Southampton defender Matt Targett, according to TEAMtalk.
With Alberto Moreno set to depart the club at the end of the month, the Reds will be lighter than usual in the left-back position.
And manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly interested in recruiting Targett to fill the void left by Moreno and provide competition to first-choice Andy Robertson.

Unai Emery is also keen on securing Targett this summer and has a much more limited budget to work with than Champions League winners Liverpool.
Targett has been made available this summer for the right price, with Southampton willing to let the 23-year-old leave as Ryan Bertrand is now the clearly-established left-back at the club.
A number of clubs, including Leicester, Fulham, Newcastle and Aston Villa all remain interested in signing him.
Targett spent the 2017/18 season on loan at Fulham and made just 21 appearances in all competitions last season for Southampton.
