Mane: Liverpool will do “everything” to win more trophies
Sadio Mane claimed “that’s what makes people love football” in the wake of Liverpool’s Champions League victory against Tottenham on Saturday.
The Senegal international won a penalty for Liverpool inside the first 30 seconds of the game after the ball struck Moussa Sissoko’s outstretched arm in the box.
Mane didn’t get on the scoresheet himself but was a thorn in Tottenham’s side throughout the match, and he’s expecting his side to go on to win more trophies straight away.

“It was a long way to go, but we finally did it together,” he said, as quoted by LiverpoolFC.com.
“It was not easy, but that’s what makes people love football.
“We are very proud and very happy to win this trophy. The dream has come true. I could not have anything better.
“I can’t describe how good Alisson was – I saw him make incredible saves for us. We are very happy to have him in our squad. He makes us even better. For me he is the best in the world.
“We have more things to come. We will do everything to win [more] trophies with this squad.”
