Liverpool will listen to offers for creative midfielder this summer

Liverpool could sell Adam Lallana this summer after the midfielder fell down the pecking order at Anfield this season, according to The Mirror.

The England man was an unused substitute on Saturday evening as Jurgen Klopp’s side beat Tottenham 2-0 in Madrid to claim the Champions League trophy for the sixth time.

The German manager is expected to allow a number of Brendan Rodgers signings to leave Anfield this summer, with Alberto Moreno, Daniel Sturridge, Simon Mignolet and Nathaniel Clyne all set to move on.

And now, it’s being reported that Liverpool will listen to offers for Lallana as well.

The playmaker arrived at Anfield from Southampton in 2014 and has gone on to score 21 times in 150 appearances for the Reds.

However, injuries and increased competition in midfield have severely limited the 31-year-old’s playing time for the club, and it seems his time as a Liverpool player may be nearing an end.

His former club Southampton are interested in re-signing him, with other Premier League clubs also monitoring his situation.
