Kamil Grabara Signs New Liverpool Contract, Heads Out On Loan

The keeper will be playing with Huddersfield Town this season.
Polish U21 international Kamil Grabara has signed a five-year contract to stay with the Reds. The goalkeeper arrived from Ruch Chorzow in 2016. In his time at the club, he’s played for Liverpool in Premier League 2 and went out on loan as well. Last January, he finished out the season with AGF Aarhus, a Danish club.
After the signing was complete, Grabara went right back out on loan. This time it’s with newly-demoted Championship side Huddersfield Town. He will spend all season with Jan Siewert’s side.
Getting Championship experience should be a huge boost in his development as a player, assuming that he gets regular playing time during the season.
Grabara has not yet gotten his debut with Liverpool’s first team, and with so much competition, it might be a while. But this loan move is a step in the right direction. Hopefully the 20-year-old takes this opportunity to grow as a player and begin to prove himself.
