Manchester United receive quadruple injury boost for Liverpool clash
Manchester United are set to welcome Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan Bissaka back for the Liverpool clash on Sunday.
Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer’s side has been plagued by injury this season and has made its worst start to a Premier League campaign for 30 years much to the delight of Liverpool fans all across the world.
The Mirror reports that the struggling Mancunians will be boosted by the return of a few players just in time to face their fiercest rivals as Liverpool visit Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
Wan Bissaka is ready to return after having tonsilitis while Pogba has been in Dubai over the international break recuperating from a ‘cracked toe’.
Shaw and Martial have both been out of action since the end of August but will be in contention to feature against Liverpool when the Reds visit ‘the Theatre of Dreams.’
Jurgen Klopp’s ‘Mighty Reds’ are top of the league table with 24 points after eight games and are a whopping 15 points above United who are languishing two points above the relegation zone.
A win for the European Champions will see them equal Manchester City’s record of 18 consecutive wins.
