Chris Wilder raves about Liverpool

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder was full of praise for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool after last night’s game.

The Reds defeated the Blades 2-0 at Anfield thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane. Liverpool are 13 points clear at the top of the Premier League table with a game in hand.

Wilder, who has done a superb job at Sheffield United this season, was certainly not bitter about losing the game to Liverpool.

In fact, he was full of praise for Klopp’s side, claiming he loves everything about them. The full interview is available below via video.

This is a classy response from Wilder. Liverpool were very good against the Blades, and it was nice to hear the opposition manager accept that.

In saying that, the Blades were quite solid right throughout the match. At no point did they dominate, but they were defensively sound for majority of the game. Sheffield United showed why they sit eighth in the Premier League.

As for Liverpool, their next assignment is Everton in the FA Cup at Anfield on Sunday.
