Gary Lineker makes prediction regarding Trent Alexander-Arnold

England legend Gary Lineker believes that Reds right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold will eventually become the very best out of Liverpool’s current superstars.

Alexander-Arnold, 21, has been sensational for Jurgen Klopp since becoming a regular in the XI. He has the ability to not only defend, but also possess a genuine threat in attack, which makes him the player he is.

The youngster has already won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup in his short Liverpool senior career.

He could very well add the Premier League title to that aforementioned collection, as the Reds possess a 16-point lead at the top of the table with a game in hand.

Lineker believes that come the end of Alexander-Arnold’s career, he will be the best out of Liverpool’s current superstars.

Lineker said in an interview with The Guardian: “Trent [Alexander-Arnold] came through the academy and he’s going to be the best of the lot.

“They’ve got lots of special players, particularly up front with the big three. But Trent is very special.

“He’s one of those players I watch every game and see three or four things from him that I go: ‘Oh my God’.”

Lineker does make a fair point in regards to the level that the Scouser could reach. Alexander-Arnold is already performing at a world-class level, and he is still only 21 years old.

The sky is the limit for the right-back, and he appears to be someone who knows how to keep himself grounded.
