Simon Jordan claims Jurgen Klopp could leave Liverpool due to one reason

Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan believes that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp could leave the club if a better offer were to come his way.

Klopp, who has led Liverpool to the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup within the past six months, recently signed a new deal at Anfield which keeps him at the club until 2024.

Klopp’s Liverpool also possess a 16-point lead at the top of the table with a game in hand.

However, despite the success Liverpool are currently having and Klopp’s new contract, Jordan believes that if a better offer comes the German’s way, he might be tempted to leave Anfield.

Jordan told talkSPORT: “Believe me, as sure as day follows night, as soon as a better opportunity than Liverpool comes along for him, he’ll be off – that’s what football managers do.”

This is quite a bizarre statement from Jordan. Right now, there is not a better side in world football. Any move away from Anfield would be a downgrade for Klopp, and deep down he would know that.

What makes this comment even more bizarre is the fact that Liverpool don’t look like falling away anytime soon. There will be a day where Klopp does decide to leave, but it might be a while away.
