Gary Neville gives verdict on whether Reds can dominate club football in the years to come

Manchester United legend Gary Neville believes that it is far too early to predict whether Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool can dominate club football for the years to come.

In the past seven months, the Reds have claimed the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.

It is likely that Liverpool will add the Premier League title to the aforementioned list of achievements, as they currently possess a 22-point lead at the top of the 2019-20 Premier League table.

Despite Liverpool’s consistency over the past couple of seasons, Neville believes that Liverpool are not guaranteed to dominate club football for the years to come.

However, he did not rule it out occurring, as he simply suggested that it is far too early to judge.

Neville is correct in a sense. It is too difficult to predict whether Liverpool will continue in this fashion for the years to come.

There is every possibility that Liverpool could go on and win more major honours, but only time will tell. Hopefully they do, as the Anfield faithful deserve to see a period of sustained dominance.
