Jurgen Klopp will have to get creative with tomorrow’s starting line-up after Everton’s multiple red-card challenges left Virgil van Dijk out for the season, and Thiago and Joel Matip out for at least this match. Regardless, the lads need to dust themselves off and get back into it. Van Dijk or no, Liverpool should qualify out of this group, and that journey starts tonight.

Amazingly, it’s the first time these two sides have faced each other since 1966. Since then, the clubs won a combined 10 European Cups. Not too bad. Ajax should be a tough challenge, especially on the road, but Liverpool should have enough to get a result and set their Champions League campaign off on the right foot.
