Another recovery update.

Virgil van Dijk has posted another update in his road back from his anterior cruciate ligament injury. After showing us some ball work last week, Big Virg has decided to bless us with some footage of him crushing a stationary bike workout at the AXA Training Centre/Kirkby this time around. It’s full of good hair, sweat-filled determination and concentration. Take a look for yourself.

Gotta say... for a dude who’s just two months removed from injury/surgery, Virgil sure looks to be doing fine. Casually crushing rehab just like his first touch and long balls over the top. Sorry, that was an emotional flashback. However, knowing how the big Dutchman figures in Liverpool FC’s long-term plans, the club will certainly be taking precautions and won’t be rushing him back. Maybe if we’re lucky, VVD will be back at the end of the season for a couple of appearances. It can’t come soon enough.
