Official: Billy Koumetio to Dundee
The young defender moves to Scotland
Liverpool have announced today that Billy Koumetio is heading to Dundee United on a permanent transfer, with the club wishing the French defender luck in his future career.
Koumetio joined Liverpool in 2018 from Orleans FC, playing at various levels in the Academy before and after debuting for the Reds in 2020 in the League Cup.
Though the young defender showed a lot of promise, he never quite broke into the first team, and spent time on loan to Austria Vienna, USL Dunkerque and Blackburn Rovers.
Assuming he gains international clearance, he will be playing in the Scottish Premiership next season.
