Oxlade-Chamberlain to Sign with Celtic
Former Liverpool FC midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to resume his career by signing for Scottish giants Glasgow Celtic, according to reports. Word is it will be a six-month contract until the end of the season.
Ox had been spotted training with the Arsenal first team in preparation for his next move, and it’s been revealed now that he’s heading to the green and white half of Glasgow. Ox left Liverpool as a free agent in 2023, and headed to Besiktas. Ahead of last season, he got frozen by then-Besiktas manager, now Liverpool assistant coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst, and did not feature for the club until December. His contract was mutually terminated at the end of August.
I’m always going to hope for the best for a member of those great Klopp teams and it’s nice to see Ox heading to a club like Celtic that shares so much in common with Liverpool. All the best, Alex, YNWA.
