Rumour: Hoffenheim Set Asking Price of €40–50m for Touré
According to Patrick Berger of Sky Sports Germany, Hoffenheim’s Bazoumana Touré is expected to leave the club this summer after the Bundesliga outfit failed to clinch Champions League qualification, with Aston Villa , Newcastle United, Liverpool FC, Brighton and Manchester United all listed as suitors.
The asking price for the Ivorian left-winger is expected to be in the €40–50m range.
Liverpool don’t just need to add both high-end quality, they also need to replace depth in their attacking ranks, with the expected departure of Federico Chiesa. Touré‘s price tag makes him a rather appealing option for the latter, but the other clubs could potentially entice him with bigger guarantees of playing time.
