Nabil Fekir to have Liverpool medical today according to reports
Liverpool are set to complete the signing of Lyon captain Nabil Fekir today, according to The Guardian.
Liverpool will pay a fee of £53million to get their man and he will become Jurgen Klopp’s second major transfer of the summer window.
Fekir is due to undergo a medical at Clairefontaine, the training base of the French national team, at some point today.

Originally, it appeared that the transfer of Fekir to Liverpool would take place after the World Cup, but that has changed over the past 24 hours.
Since Liverpool’s interest in Fekir came to his attention, he made it clear to Lyon that he wanted the move. Lyon were fine with their prized asset moving on, but only for the right price.
Klopp’s interest in Fekir has come after the Frenchman scored 21 goals and had nine assists in 39 appearances in Ligue 1 for Lyon last season.
Fekir is considered the natural replacement for Philippe Coutinho and bolsters Liverpool’s attack after they were left with little depth going into the final stages of last season.
We will keep you updated over the course of the day with any news on the deal.
