Maddock went on to say that Aulas is happy to revive talks with the Merseyside club after Fekir has made it clear how much he wants the move.
Liverpool agreed a deal with Lyon for Fekir’s services before the World Cup got underway for a fee of £53million, but the move broke down as the Reds had concerns regarding Fekir’s medical.
The deal was so close to being complete that a leaked image of Fekir’s interview when he signed with Liverpool was leaked.
It appears that Liverpool could go back in for their man, but only if the originally agreed fee is lowered.
